Time on the Water TV first aired in January, 2004. As a fan of national fishing shows, it appeared that all great bass fishing was located primarily in the Southern states. Time on the Water was created to highlight bass fishing opportunities “close to home”, in the Midwest area. Now entering Season 13, we are still discovering new “hotspots” nearby.
Many of the techniques described on national shows work locally, but there are also more specific techniques that a local angler needs in his or her angling arsenal. Midwest techniques require different lures and tackle. Time on the Water highlights these local techniques and provides info on the proper tackle and equipment. There are plenty of big largemouth and smallmouth bass swimming locally. Together we will discover them.
Time on the Water has always been a partnership with our viewers. We do not film in private lakes or stocked ponds. Every show provides information about the lake fished and specific locations within the lakes are given. The shows highlight a realistic fishing experience. I do not always catch a giant or reel in one after the other on every show. But I always try to figure something out that can help my viewers on their next trip.
Thanks for watching – enjoy lucky Season 13!
